I think I went on the wrong day to see the Merlion.

They were going to have a fireworks show...I never waited. Hehehe.
The place was packed, and the prime spots were filled with Photographers and their tripods.

Hoping to come up with unique shots, I made sure to shoot the lion from different angles. Excited and satisfied with the pictures I took, I left

The next day, I saw my same shots (composition, colors, etc) on a postcard.

...nice shots, Yano...I know what you mean...what i do is buy postcards of the city as a clue on what are good angles/pov...and they serve a second purpose - back-up photos of the place in case of bad weather...and bad shots..hehe

truly! unfortunately, the bridge was a bit long, and there were a lot of people on it, that by the time I got to the other end, magic hour had passed.
